The Mascabrothers bring down the house in the Feria

Last night Freddy and Germán Ortega, who make up the comedic pair of the Mascabrothers, filled the Foro Artistico in the Feria of Puebla to the brim with both people and laughter.

The comedy group welcomed special guest Julio Alegria to the show, who has been appearing in the brothers’ shows for many years.

In the pre-show interview the Mascabrothers stated that they are currently concentrating on the promising new skit ‘Young Frankenstein’ which has been widely received with huge approval, and also on developing various new ideas.

When asked if they would be branching out to television soon, Germán Ortega pointed out that people watch shows, and rarely one off programs, and due to the effort they are putting in to their skits, they don’t want to waste the by repeating themselves over the course of multiple episodes.

The show saw the hilarious return of characters such as ‘Young Frankenstein’, and ‘La Jitomata y La Perejila’, both of which had the audience in hysterics.

The comedic duo performed the one-off event to celebrate the annual Feria of Puebla.
