Elefante fills the Feria of Puebla

On the penultimate night of the 2016 Feria of Puebla, the 1990s band from Mexico City, Elefante, gave a spectacular performance to a huge of crowd of both original fans from their heyday, to many keen younger people, and to any online spectators through Periscope.

The performance marks a stage on a very busy tour for the band, which will be playing in Veracruz, Guanajuato, Chiapas and Mexico State, as well as in various cities in Texas, California and the East Coast of the United States.

Discussing what the future holds for the band, they revealed that they are currently recording a new album, and were therefore unable to discuss much of the new project. However three new songs from the album were played last night, along with lyrics being projected on the screen to enable to audience to sing along and be featured in the recording. The group revealed that Rafael ‘Rafa’ López is generally the songwriter of the group, writing all off the songs revealed last night, called Sobran las Palabras, Te Quiero and Viva La Vida.

On tonight, the final night of the Feria, Los Tigres del Norte will be performing at 8:30pm in the Foro Artistico to close the event.
